Text

This report provides a general view of collective efforts as well as showcases best practice examples of mobilising different sources and activating contributions from different actors to support sustainable development. Some examples are well-known from the public, other interesting examples from both EU institutions and Member States deserve to be highlighted.

The Addis Agenda was endorsed at the Third International Conference on Financing for Development, held in Addis Ababa in 2015. It commits the governments, the international and intergovernmental institutions, and the private sector to draw upon a wide range of financial and non-financial means of implementation in order to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
