In the framework of the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights this year, and on the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict, the Delegation of the European Union to Japan and the UN Information Centre are organising a seminar on "Eliminating violence against women and girls at home and abroad".

The seminar will cover both international and domestic aspects of violence against women and girls from global, Japanese and European perspectives.

This event is open for the public, but space is limited. Those interested in attending are kindly requested to register in advance with the EU Delegation by no later than Friday, 15 June, to ensure access to the venue. The seminar will be followed by networking reception.
