Walking forward together, the people of CAR and EUTM RCA
This spirit of cooperation shone brightly on the World Kindness Day, when the Spanish contingent of EUTM-RCA visited the children of Notre-Dame School in Bimbo. The moment the soldiers entered the schoolyard, the air filled with songs, laughter, and the simple joy of children who know how to turn a moment into something magical.
A high-five, a smile, a shared game, small acts of kindness that painted the morning in bright colors and reminded everyone present that hope often grows from the simplest seeds.
Following the touching visit of the Romanian contingent to Boy-Rabe, this new encounter added another meaningful chapter to EUTM-RCA’s ongoing story of solidarity. Day after day, encounter after encounter, the mission and the Central African communities weave deeper bonds of trust. Building not only memories, but the foundations of a peaceful future.
Yet, kindness is only one of the ways the mission honors its commitment.
At Camp Moana in Kassaï, the men and women of EUTM-RCA gathered to pay tribute to Corporal-Chef Heiarii Moana, whose courage, professionalism, and compassion continue to guide all who follow in his steps. His life, marked by dedicated service from Afghanistan to Mali and finally the Central African Republic, remains a symbol of the values that drive the mission. Camp Moana, bearing his name, stands as a long-lasting tribute to a soldier who served with both strength and heart.
And as EUTM-RCA looks to the future, its partnership with the Central African authorities continues to deepen. In early November, during the third steering committee meeting on the 2026–2030 Military Programming Law, mission experts alongside national representatives, MINUSCA, and senior FACA officers worked together to shape the long-term vision of the country’s defense modernization. These discussions helped further a shared commitment: building transparent, resilient, future-oriented institutions capable of safeguarding peace for generations to come.
Among these long-term efforts, one initiative stands out as a symbol of hope:
the soon-to-open Officers’ School, a place where Central African men and women will gain access to quality military education, leadership development, and the tools to make a positive difference for their country. This school represents far more than infrastructure; it embodies opportunity, empowerment, and the belief that sustainable peace begins with well-trained, inspired leaders.
Together EUTM-RCA and the Central African Republic continue to build a shared future.
EUTM RCA

The mission support the Central African authorities and is engaged in three domains: strategic advice, operational training and education.
