Specific objectives of the Action:

  • Restrict the scope of the death penalty and abolish the death penalty for juveniles by supporting and pushing the criminal justice reform in line with the international human rights conventions ratified by Yemen.
  • Reduce human rights violations in prisons by strengthening the capacity of local CSOs to monitor prison conditions, train prison officials and implement legal assistance activities.
