The European Union supports Civil Society Organisations in Zambia (€5 million)

A call for proposals was launched in 2018 under the "Civil Society and Local Authorities" budget line with two key priorities: (i) the citizen engagement in deepening democracy and (ii) the re-integration of inmates in correctional facilities. Six projects were eventually contracted for a total amount of €3,8 million. Today, the European Union Delegation announced the list of the grantees and the purpose of their projects in a press release.
