Delegation Kenya hosts a 'Study in Europe' information session at Strathmore University
The EU Delegation to Kenya organised a Study in Europe information session on Friday 22 March at the Strathmore University in Nairobi.
While opening the session, Ambassador Stefano Dejak noted how Erasmus has provided a unique experience to a generation of Europeans and has contributed to fostering a broader European identity.
More than 150 students, alumni and staff members from Strathmore University and the Catholic University of Eastern Africa attended the event.
Representatives from eight EU Member States (France, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy Portugal and the United Kingdom) and the EU Delegation gave presentations on their respective study programme and also contributed to the lively question and answer session that followed.
Overall the engagement highlighted the importance of fostering the EU-Kenya people-to-people partnership, in which student exchanges can play a crucial role.
