Students from Comillas University visit EU Delegation

A group of students and young professionals from Pontifica Universidad Comillas visited the EU Delegation on Wednesday.

Erik Habers, Head of Development Cooperation, gave a comprehensive overview of the political and economic cooperation between the EU and Kenya. After his introductory presentation, the students engaged in lively discussion on the role of the EU-Kenyan cooperation for regional integration in (East) Africa.

This is the third time in several years that students from Comillas University are visiting the EU Delegation. As part of an international professional development programme, Comillas University regularly organizes three-week courses in Nairobi to study the challenges of development cooperation in an emerging economy and the diplomatic relevance of Kenya in the East African Region. During their trip, the students are meeting with international organizations, diplomatic entities and civil society actors in Nairobi as well as taking part in cultural activities.
