Delegation of the European Union in Eritrea celebrates Europe Day

The Delegation of the European Union to the State of Eritrea celebrated this year’s Europe Day on May 6 at Casa degli Italiani with a cultural evening featuring a local pianist, displaying a video on EU projects in Eritrea and also distributed materials on Eritrea – EU cooperation to the invited audience.

In the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Osman Saleh, and other senior Government officials and representatives of local authorities as well as representatives of diplomatic missions, the Head of the EU Delegation to Eritrea, H.E. Ambassador Christian R. Manahl, gave a speech focusing on developments within the European Union, as well as on economic, migration and other global challenges and the Eritrea – EU relations.
