INTRODUCTION
“Plug in to Evolution” is the EU's strategic communication and public diplomacy campaign under the Global Gateway Strategy, highlighting shared progress toward a greener, more inclusive future.
The campaign positions the EU as a trusted partner in Vietnam’s sustainable and green transition - connecting innovation, climate action, and people. Guided by the motto, “Climate action for green growth - EU and Vietnam’s youth stand together," it celebrates the vital role of young people in shaping a sustainable tomorrow.
With a message of connection, transformation, and readiness, “Plug in to Evolution” inspires Vietnamese youth to embrace change and join a journey towards a sustainable future where people and nature evolve in harmony.
The campaign's spirit comes to life through music, dance, and visual arts, embodied by the three natural elements - Wind, Water, and Sun.
WIND
WIND is the invisible force that drives change - restless, creative, and full of potential. It represents innovation, progress, and forward motion - echoing how both nature and people evolve when inspired by new ideas and energy.
Like wind's turning the blades of turbines, EU-supported renewable energy initiatives are driving Vietnam’s green transition while investing in its people. Through training and skills development, young Vietnamese are being equipped to lead, innovate, and become active agents of sustainable change.
WATER
WATER embodies adaptability, persistence, and quiet strength. As a force of nature, it mirrors the resilience of communities - constantly adjusting, enduring, and thriving amid change.
The EU’s initiatives in Vietnam help communities navigate climate challenges through targeted skills training and sustainable livelihood support. These empower people to transform vulnerability into resilience and build a future that flows with purpose.
SUN
SUN represents sustainability - long-term growth, enduring impact, and the wisdom to guide future generations. As a natural source of life, it reflects the nurturing of ecosystems, the cultivation of knowledge, and skills.
The EU-funded actions in forestry conservation and sustainable agriculture, both communities and experts supported to protect Vietnam's natural heritage and a brighter, more sustainable future.
WIND - MUSIC
Music gives life to Wind - a rhythm of change, creativity, and emotion. Performed by WEAN and marzuz, the campaign’s song captures the pulse of renewal and reinvention.
The collaboration blends youthful energy with expressive soul, creating a soundscape that breathes life into the campaign - spreading the spirit of creativity, transformation, and sustainable inspiration.

WATER - DANCE
Dance flows like Water, adaptability, and strength. Through fluid movements, Last Fire Crew, one of Vietnam’s leading street dance collectives, brings this spirit to life. Their powerful and expressive movements embody resilience and transformation - echoing how communities adapt, endure, and thrive.
SUN - VISUAL ARTS
Visual art illuminates the Sun – symbolizing knowledge, creativity, and growth. The collaboration between fustic. studio and Bach Vu merge technology and tradition: immersive digital experiences meet soulful paintings inspired by nature. Together, they create a compelling highlight of the campaign, amplifying the message of heritage sustainability and harmony.
