INTRODUCTION
“Plug in to Evolution” is the EU's strategic communication and public diplomacy campaign under the Global Gateway Strategy, highlighting shared progress toward a greener, more inclusive future.
The campaign positions the EU as a trusted partner in Vietnam’s sustainable and green transition - connecting innovation, climate action, and people. Guided by the motto, “Climate action for green growth - EU and Vietnam’s youth stand together," it celebrates the vital role of young people in shaping a sustainable tomorrow.
With a message of connection, transformation, and readiness, “Plug in to Evolution” inspires Vietnamese youth to embrace change and join a journey towards a sustainable future where people and nature evolve in harmony.
The campaign's spirit comes to life through music, dance, and visual arts, embodied by the three natural elements - Wind, Water, and Sun.
WIND
WIND is the invisible force that drives change - restless, creative, and full of potential. It represents innovation, progress, and forward motion - echoing how both nature and people evolve when inspired by new ideas and energy.
Like wind's turning the blades of turbines, EU-supported renewable energy initiatives are driving Vietnam’s green transition while investing in its people. Through training and skills development, young Vietnamese are being equipped to lead, innovate, and become active agents of sustainable change.
WATER
WATER embodies adaptability, persistence, and quiet strength. As a force of nature, it mirrors the resilience of communities - constantly adjusting, enduring, and thriving amid change.
The EU’s initiatives in Vietnam help communities navigate climate challenges through targeted skills training and sustainable livelihood support. These empower people to transform vulnerability into resilience and build a future that flows with purpose.
SUN
SUN represents sustainability - long-term growth, enduring impact, and the wisdom to guide future generations. As a natural source of life, it reflects the nurturing of ecosystems, the cultivation of knowledge, and skills.
The EU-funded actions in forestry conservation and sustainable agriculture, both communities and experts supported to protect Vietnam's natural heritage and a brighter, more sustainable future.
WIND - MUSIC
Inspired by a spirit of renewal and the connections that shape our future, “GIÓ” brings a musical journey where young people are invited to listen inward and broaden their perspectives on positive change.
In harmony with the message of the “Plug in to Evolution” campaign, WEAN and marzuz present “GIÓ” as a gentle reminder to reconnect with ourselves, our communities, and the environment - the elements that contribute to a more sustainable tomorrow.

SUN - VISUAL ARTS
Inspired by the SUN as a symbol of energy and knowledge, We are made of SUN is a visual art exhibition that brings together painting, light technology, and multisensory interactive experiences.
Through two main works - SUN, a five-channel moving image series, co-created by Bách Vũ and Fustic. Studio, and CONVERGENCE, an interactive spatial light and audio installation created by Fustic. Studio. The exhibition explores the connections between people, nature, and a sustainable future.
The exhibition was open to the public in Hanoi (26–31 May 2026) and Ho Chi Minh City (11–14 June 2026).
