The Delegation of the European Union issues the following statement, together with the diplomatic missions of the EU Member States and the diplomatic missions of Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom in Singapore:
Singapore continues to be the EU’s main trade and investment partner in Southeast Asia, with annual trade in goods and services amounting to €132.7 billion in 2023. Singapore ranks as the EU’s 5th largest partner for both inward and outward Foreign Direct Investment stocks.
The EU hosts the fourth EU-Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum on 20th and 21st Nov in Brussels. The Forum brings together the EU, its Member States and partners from the East coast of Africa to the Pacific islands.
17 th November 2025: European Union (EU) Ambassador to Singapore Artis Bertulis presented his credentials to President Tharman Shanmugaratnam at The Istana, marking the formal start of his term in Singapore.
