The leaders of the European Union and of the Western Balkans met on 18 December 2024 for their first summit under the new EU leadership. The resulting Brussels Declaration highlighted pledges to commit to deepening cooperation on foreign policy, security and economic growth.

On December 4 th, General Robert Brieger visited EU’s second Live Military Exercise (MILEX24) in Bergen, Germany.
