On May 9, the EU Delegation in Chile celebrated Europe Day at the Palacio La Moneda Cultural Center, one of the most important cultural spaces in the country. Three ministers of the government (Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Energy and the Minister of Sports) and seven Vice-Ministers attended together with 400 guests.

At this occasion, a video sponsored by the EU Delegation was released to explain the EU-Chile advanced framework agreement, whose negotiations have been concluded in December 2022 and is currently in legal review before signing and ratification. The video highlights how the agreement will contribute to strengthen political dialogue, deepen cooperation and foster trade and investment opportunities and offers local testimonies about the concrete benefits of the EU-Chile partnership, such as in the fields of sustainability and green transition, gender equality or innovation.
