Celebrating EU Diversity Month: Inclusive Arts Workshop and Exhibition in Indonesia

In celebration of EU Diversity Month, the EU Delegation to Indonesia – in collaboration with the British Council and Jogja Disability Arts (JDA) – hosted a special event titled "Workshop & Discussion: Nurturing Inclusive Arts Space" along with an inclusive exhibition tour. The event took place on 26 May 2025 at the Erasmus Huis, the Dutch Cultural Centre in Jakarta.

The event was officially opened by the EU Ambassador to Indonesia, H.E. Denis Chaibi, who emphasised the importance of inclusion and accessibility in the arts.

This initiative forms part of the Design Matters Lab, a project implemented by EUNIC Indonesia Cluster. The project champions diverse voices and creative practices that make space for everyone.

Design Matters Lab is made possible with the support of the European Spaces of Culture, EU Member State embassies, European cultural centres and a network of valued Indonesian partners.
