EU Green Engineering Hub

The EU Green Engineering Hub (www.greenengineer.eu) is a digital platform developed under the EU–Indonesia Cooperation Facility (EUICF), with the support of the EU Delegation to Indonesia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. It was launched on 22 April 2026, in conjunction with Earth Day, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology.

Created to address a concrete information gap, the platform consolidates information on green engineering study programmes, scholarships, and green career opportunities across Europe—previously dispersed across hundreds of separate university and government websites. This information is now available in one place, in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, and can be accessed from any device.

Through the platform, users can explore:

• 1,380+ green engineering study programmes

• 191+ scholarships open to Indonesian students

• 186+ EU partner universities across all 27 EU Member States

• 216+ green job database

Indonesia has committed to reaching net-zero emissions by 2060. Getting there will require a generation of engineers, researchers, and professionals who know how to design and manage systems that work with the environment. That demand is already being felt across energy, construction, agriculture, and manufacturing.

Europe has decades of experience in green engineering education and sustainable technology. For Indonesian students, studying in Europe is a direct route to the skills and networks needed to contribute to Indonesia's own green transition.
