European Parliament's Trade Committee visits Indonesia, discusses political and trade relations

Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) visited Jakarta on 19-21 June 2023. The visiting delegation consist of six MEPs from the International Trade Committee (INTA).

 

Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) visited Jakarta on 19-21 June 2023. The visiting delegation consist of six MEPs from the International Trade Committee (INTA). During the visit, the MEPs met Indonesia’s key decision makers, including the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, the Minister of Trade and Members of Commission VI of the Indonesian Parliament (DPR RI). The delegates also met with civil society organisations, trade unions, and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN). The visit focused on EU-Indonesia bilateral trade and investment relations, as well as other topics concerning trade and sustainable development. 

The INTA delegation was composed of the following MEPs:
