Bringing the best of European cinema to audiences in Japan, EU Film Days celebrates its 20th anniversary this year with films from all 27 EU Member States, and screenings in four cities in Japan: Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka. Under the concept “Europe: closer to you through film”, a wide variety of themes ranging from families, love and friendship, environment, women, and much more will be presented over the coming weeks. This year we also include special screenings of a film from Ukraine.
