Within the framework of the partnership between the EU and local actors, particularly civil society, the Delegation of the European Union (DUE) in Senegal and 7 Member States (France, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Great Britain, Italy and the Netherlands) adopted, in 2014, the "Roadmap (ToR) of the European Union for the commitment to civil society for the period 2014-2017". This roadmap, a strategic framework for supporting civil society in Senegal, was updated during the 2017-2020 joint programming.
