EEAS Open Day 2023 - Europe Day

Ready to travel the whole world in just one day? Or to discover how the EU is working abroad to promote a safer and fairer world? Join us for our Open Day and talk with our Ambassadors, follow music and artistic performance from different regions outside the EU and take part in interesting discussions and workshops!

 

The EEAS is preparing to host this year’s Open Day with plenty of activities tailored to all age categories visitors. We invite you to take a tour around the world in a single day with your special EU passport, which we will provide you. Our stands will showcase different EU activities in each region and what impact they have.

Take the opportunity to play games, quizzes, and take pictures at our photo booth. Children and adults can also pedalling an electricity generating bike among many other fun activities.

Have you ever wondered what is like to be a EU Ambassador? Meet them on Saturday 6 of May! Former EEAS Ambassadors will take part in a Q&A session where they will share their most exciting experiences.

The day wouldn’t be complete without celebrations. Different artist both from Brussels and from other regions outside of Europe will perform. Join their show or learn a new skill in one of their workshops.

If you are curious about specific topics, why not joining one of the Expert Talks? Throughout the day, different experts will conduct panel discussions and Q&A sessions to allow visitors to find more on informatin manipulation, hate speech and disinformation.

#OurVoiceOurFuture young influencers will also be present. Coming from the four corners of the world, these young champions will be present to share an external view about EU’s activities. You can join the young influencers in the treasure hunt for the main articles of the Universal Human Rights Declaration as this year we celebrate the 75th anniversary of this important international document.

And, for its debut, the EEAS Choir will perform to all visitors.
