Administrative Agreement

Head of Mission of European Union Capacity Building Mission in Somalia (EUCAP), Mr. Kauko Aaltomaa, and the Mission Force Commander of European Union Training Mission in Somalia (EUTM-S), Brigadier General Fulvio Poli, signed the new Administrative Agreement between the two missions to give greater impetus to mutual cooperation and coordination. This act will greatly improve the quality of the support to the Somali Armed and Police Forces and to achieve the respective missions’ mandates.

More EU synergy

The purpose of this Administrative Agreement is to foster and enhance mutual cooperation and coordination between EUCAP and EUTM to facilitate the implementation of their respective mandates in Somalia. It's intended to be neither exhaustive not limiting in its terms but forms the basis for future development and enhancement of cooperative relations between EUCAP and EUTM. The different fields of mutual support and coordination to be provided by EUCAP and EUTM as well as the terms and conditions touch Medical Support, Security, Administrative Support and Information Sharing.

Way ahead
