The first course, Electrocardiography Course and the second one, Basic Life Support and Defibrillation (BLSD) Course. Both with a duration of two days. They were attended by 12 doctors and nurses currently serving with Somalian National Armed Forces (SNAF) and the Xooga hospital of Mogadishu. The head of Somali National Armed Forces Medical Planing, Captain Mustafa Hussein Abdulle, also attended. The purpose of these two courses was to share fundamentals in order to improve the expertise of personnel.

Medical Advisory Week was really appreciated by all attendees. This course marks the beginning of a closer cooperation between EUTM-S Advisory Team and SNAF Medical Command, in order to advise and mentor the staff of SNAF, regarding different medical topics.

This initiative reflects a continued EUTM-S commitment to capacity-building and professional development, also for healthcare providers.
