The Syrian conflict has wrought unimaginable suffering on millions, with countless human rights abuses, war crimes, and crimes against humanity occurring not just in government-held territories, but across all areas of the country.

Violations against civilians have ravaged every corner of Syria, perpetrated by various actors and manifesting in numerous forms, including arbitrary arrests, torture, forced disappearances, property seizures, beatings, destruction of civilian infrastructure, and the weaponization of water.

Hosted by a coalition of organizations committed to human rights and accountability, this panel aims to shed light on overlooked areas of Syria where grave human rights abuses persist amidst the conflict.
