‘Young European Ambassadors’ project in the Republic of Moldova

The EU organised a series of ‘Young European Ambassadors’ visits to schools and universities in the Republic of Moldova between 8 November and 2 December 2016. The ‘Young European Ambassadors’ visited 30 secondary schools and two universities across the country, talking to 3,500 students about EU values and cultures, study opportunities and volunteering. They also helped students to take part in a competition dedicated to the development of project ideas. The competition aims to encourage young people to actively participate in the improvement of local communities.
