Statement by the Spokesperson on the terrorist attacks in Pakistan

Pakistan has once again been victim of a series of terrorist attacks. Today more than 70 people, including children, have been killed and many more injured, while visiting the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in the province of Sindh. A few days ago, 14 people died in single terrorist attack in Lahore, while several others died in attacks in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.

We express our condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to those who were injured. We are determined to stand by Pakistan in fighting all forms of terrorism and will continue to strengthen our cooperation with Pakistan in this regard.
