Another terrorist attack has claimed lives in Egypt on 7th July; at least 23 security troops were killed when a car bomb struck a checkpoint and a military compound, in northeastern Sinai Peninsula, on Friday.

The European Union expresses its sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims of this attack.
