The 3rd ASEAN-EU Science, Technology and Innovation Days to take place in Hanoi on 10-12 May 2016

The ASEAN-EU Science, Technology and Innovation Days 2016 (ASEAN-EU STI Days) is a dynamic forum style event, initiated by the EU Research Programme funded INCO-NET project: SEA-EU-NET II.
Following the success of two events organised in Bangkok, Thailand (2014) and Paris, France (2015), ASEAN-EU STI Days 2016, the third edition of this event, will focus on presenting European research excellent to ASEAN stakeholders as well as raising awareness on the current STI developments in Europe.
The event including dozen of scientific workshops, an innovation exhibition and other activities will be organised by the National Centre for Scientific and Technology Information from 10 May to 12 May in Hanoi. Around 400 participants are expected to attend, mainly from Southeast Asia and Europe.
STI Days is an ideal occasion for networking and exchange ideas in the thematic areas: Health, Water Management and Environment, Food, Security and Safety, and Innovation. Several sideline activities such as paper and poster competition, brokerage events, as well as field trips to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and Bat Trang Pottery Village will be organised to make the program even more attractive.
The participants of the forum include not only STI policy makers, innovative companies, European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (Eurocham), research administrators, but also researchers and scientists who are interested in expanding research networks in the partner region,
