EU Mini Model game held in Bishkek
Participants of the game stepped into shoes of diplomats representing EU member states and the Kyrgyz Republic. Participants discussed cooperation in the field of human rights protection. The goals of the game include promotion of core human rights, development of critical thinking skills, public speaking and negotiation, familiarisation with research methodologies, and broadening general outlook.
All participants were awarded with certificates, and the winners received special prizes.
"The European Union actively supports the strict observance of human rights throughout the world. The concept of human rights is based on two important values: human dignity and equality. That is why human rights are supported and promoted on the highest level by the European Union. We want our #EU4HumanRights campaign to remind everyone that violation of human rights and freedoms is unacceptable in the modern civilized world," Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic Jaap Ora noted.
The event was held in the framework of the EU media-campaign in the Kyrgyz Republic dedicated to human rights #EU4HumanRights.
The event was organized by the Delegation of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic in collaboration with Diplomatic Academy.
