Complementary to the modules previously taught by experts from EUCAP Sahel Niger, this training is intended to allow the National Guard to more efficiently manage its staff and make them aware of the security context and the effective management of its personnel who may be confronted with several occupational hazards such as attacks, kidnappings and hostage-taking. The objective of the course is to reflect on the ways and means of motivating staff, with knowledge of rights and compensation in the event of problems.

As part of the transfer of skills, Nigerien trainers have already taken over the training. Second Lieutenant Haouaou Orou Sabi, Head of the Human Resources Division at the GNN High Command is one of the trainees who have benefitted from the training and now trains others. "Thanks to the training I have received from EUCAP Sahel Niger, I am now able to offer courses on HR management with greater confidence than before, she says. I now use applications such as Powerpoint. It makes my job easier and helps to better focus the attention of participants during the training ".
