Increasing the Competitiveness of Middle Black Sea Region (Tr83) Project
With the project, a new service building at Samsun Industrial Site is constructed for OKA operating in the TR83 region covering Samsun, Çorum, Amasya and Tokat. In this way, OKA is physically very close to businesses when providing services. Thus companies benefit from the services of OKA with greater ease.
Additionally, within the technical assistance component of the project, training and consultancy services aiming at capacity enhancement and information technologies infrastructure improvement services are provided enabling Agency’s services to be more efficient and effective.
Moreover, a Plan for Increasing Competitiveness and Internationalisation of Businesses is prepared to complement the Yeşilırmak Basin Development Plan written by the Central Black Sea Development Agency. National and international meetings and fairs are organised to encourage investment. Additionally, brochures are prepared, a website is created, and investor inquiry and investor-manufacturer matching activities take place at the investment fair.
OKA has signed tens of projects in the TR83 Region, generated employment and provided all kinds of support for the development of SMEs, and it will maintain its strong support for the sustainable development of the region with acknowledgement to the improved competence of its staff.
The Central Black Sea Development Agency (OKA) established in 2008 is taking action to increase its capacity in order to mobilise this existing potential, to accelerate regional development, to ensure sustainability as well as to eliminate developmental disparities that exist among regions or within the region itself.
