EUMAM MOZ and Mozambican Armed Forces work together on sustainment

01.07.2025

The Administrative Command Element (ACE) Course aims to cover key areas such as human resources management, logistics, planning, and training procedures, along with critical cross-cutting domains including civil-military cooperation, gender perspective, and International Humanitarian Law and International Human Rights Law.  The ACE, directly supervised by the Mozambican Chief of Defense, will be responsible for managing the regeneration, training, and maintenance of the Quick Reaction Forces (QRFs) and Tactical Air Control Party teams previously trained by the European Union Training Mission in Mozambique as well as controlling and maintaining their equipment. EUMAM MOZ is a non-executive mission, with a mandate until June 2026 and focusses on the operational training cycle and maintenance, while also conducting specialised training to enable the FADM to be self-sufficient in fighting the insurgency.
