The core discussion topics throughout the course, were the Black Sea and its connection to the outer world through the Mediterranean Sea, along with the relatively recent change of balance in the respective regions, that have created implications for the European Union.

The course was a state of the art blended one, including both e-learning and residential training, with the latter comprising both theoretical and practical activities, focused primarily  on  hybrid threats, energy security and  the security of the critical infrastructures relevant to the European Union.

The practical portion of the course was performed with the use of both sea and indoor simulators.

The specific course, being an ongoing success, will continue being delivered, with a constantly updated content, fully aligned to the participants' needs and requirements.
