Fáilte – Weclome – Haere Mae - On 27 August, EU Ambassador Bernard Savage and the Ambassador of Ireland Peter Ryan signed a Memorandum of Understanding of Collocation, to enable the Embassy of Ireland office to take up office space within the EU Delegation on a temporary basis. Ambassador Ryan presented his credentials to H.E. the Rt Hon Dame Patsy Reddy, Governor General of New Zealand, at Government House on 29 August. For the ceremony he was wearing a Maori Korowai handmade by Lillian Hammond Ferris of the Ngati Kahungunu. The EU Delegation is pleased to support our Irish colleagues as they work to establish their Embassy in Wellington.
