The French Institute for Higher National Defence Studies (IHEDN) and the European Security and Defence College (ESDC), co-organised a course on - EU Integrated Crisis Management - in Brussels, from 6 to 8 November 2018. The 22 participants from the EU Member States worked for European or national institutions. 25% of the participants were women.

The course aimed to enhance knowledge and understanding of crisis management as part of the EU Integrated Approach to External Conflicts and Crisis, as well as to increase information sharing, collaboration and cooperation among the different actors such as military and civilian within crisis management, and humanitarian and development aid actors in the wider context of Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP)/ Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP).
