Venezuela: Representantes del Grupo Internacional de Contacto y el Grupo de Lima se reunirán el 3 de junio a nivel ministerial

En representación del Grupo Internacional de Contacto, Federica Mogherini, Alta Representante de la Unión Europea para Asuntos Exteriores y Política de Seguridad y Vicepresidenta de la Comisión Europea, junto a los Ministros de Relaciones Exteriores de Portugal y Uruguay, se reunirán con los Ministros de Relaciones Exteriores de Canadá, Chile y Perú, en representación del Grupo de Lima, para tratar la situación en Venezuela. La reunión se celebrará en Nueva York el 3 de junio de 2019.
La reunión surge de una invitación de los países del Grupo de Lima en su última reunión Ministerial y forma parte de la decisión adoptada por el Grupo Internacional de Contacto de intensificar sus actividades con otros actores internacionales claves, con miras a contribuir a una solución política, pacífica y democrática a la crisis venezolana.
Venezuela: Representatives of International Contact Group and the Lima Group to meet on 3 June at ministerial level
Representing the International Contact Group, Federica Mogherini, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, together with the Foreign Ministers of Portugal and Uruguay, will meet next week the Foreign Ministers of Canada, Chile and Peru, in representation of the Lima Group, to discuss the situation in Venezuela. The meeting will take place in New York on 3 June 2019.
The meeting follows an invitation from Lima Group countries at their last Ministerial meeting and is part of the decision taken by the International Contact Group to intensify its outreach with other key international actors, with a view to contribute to a political, peaceful and democratic solution to the Venezuelan crisis.
