AATIP organises workshop on ASEAN Air Traffic Management
On 27 and 28 of July 2016 in Bangkok, ASEAN Air Transport Integration Project (AATIP) organised a workshop on the development and implementation of an ASEAN Air Traffic Management (ATM) master plan in support of the establishment of the ASEAN Single Aviation Market (ASAM).
This AATIP activity gathered 25 aviation experts from the European Union, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. It is the last of three workshops designed by the project to present the European experience in developing a regional ATM Master Plan, to review possible operational initiatives in the region and how these initiatives should be addressed in the ASEAN ATM Master Plan and to provide guidance on an ASEAN ATM Data Policy using the EUROCONTROL/ EU ATM Data Policy as a reference.
With this workshop, AATIP is closing the implementation phase of its four-year programme.
