During the lunch, the state of the working relation between the EU and IFAD and the main priorities of IFAD's work were presented. Special attention was given to topics such as: agricultural research, farmer organizations, risk management analysis, resilience and remittances.

The Head of Delegation, Laurence Argimon-Pistre, recalled the strong partnership between IFAD, the EU and its Member States and reassured the President of IFAD of the EU’s solid commitment in supporting IFAD.
