First Arab-Haredi Business Conference at the EU Delegation in Israel 29.11.16

The Delegation was especially proud to host the First Arab-Haredi Business Cooperation Conference in our conference room on November 29. The event brought together personalities and businesspeople – men and women - from both communities, many of whom stressed the untapped potential for business cooperation. As EU Ambassador Lars Faaborg-Andersen said in his welcome message, "These are two communities that rarely communicate with each other, yet might have more interests in common than meet the eye." Two interesting panels dealt with the topics of High-Tech in Arab and Haredi Society" and "Women's Businesses in a Religious Environment". We hope that this first step will now lead to growing business cooperation for the benefit of both
