European Cinema Days in Türkiye

The European Cinema Days will bring an unforgettable experience to cinema lovers in Ankara, İstanbul, Antalya, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Edirne, Eskişehir, İzmir, Samsun and Trabzon.

The European Cinema Days are organised in cooperation with the EU Delegation to Türkiye, Embassies of EU Member States, EU National Institutes for Culture and several EU Information Centres.

 

Featured films include:

“The Naked Truth About Zhiguli Band” from Bulgaria, “Miss Viborg” from Denmark, “Dawn of War” from Estonia, “Any Day Now” from Finland, “Lost Illusions” from France, “Romy’s Salon” from Netherlands and Germany, “Ramona” from Spain, “I am Zlatan” from Sweden, “Dante” from Italy, “Carmen” from Malta and Canada, “Remember To Blink” from Lithuania, “Gentle” from Hungary and Germany, “The Peasants” from Poland, “My Grandfather's Demons” from Portugal, Spain and France, “Mikado” from Romania and Czechia, “Never Say Never” from Slovakia, “The Man Without Guilt” from Slovenia, Italy and Croatia, “When Tomatoes Met Wagner” from Greece.

The Gala Events (by invitation only) on 15 April in Ankara and on 29 April in İstanbul will feature the premiere of the Ukrainian, German, Polish and Slovakian co-production "Stepne".

Free public screenings will take place at Kızılay Büyülü Fener Cinema in Ankara between 16 - 21 April and at Kadıköy Caddebostan Cultural Centre in İstanbul between 30 April - 5 May.   

Screenings in other cities will take place between 8-12 May. Venues: Antalya Culture and Art Centre AKS in Antalya; CineNova Forum Çamlık in Denizli; Mordem Art Centre in Diyarbakır; Margi Cinegold in Edirne; Cinema Pink Kanatlı Mall in Eskişehir; French Cultural Centre in İzmir; Citymall Cinegold in Samsun; and Lara Cinema in Trabzon.
